The Irish Cancer Society needs you to raise much needed funds for our services and for cancer research.
We want to play a vital role in achieving world-class cancer services in Ireland, to ensure fewer people get cancer and those that do have better outcomes. To register your fundraising event with the Irish Cancer Society, please download our event proposal form (PDF file) or our sponsorship application form or CallSavel 1850-60-60-60.
Once we have received your form and approved your event by telephone or email, you can then visit mycharity.ie and using your ICS unique supporter number set up your fundraising page. The Irish Cancer Society fundraising team will also be able to supply you with ICS materials to make your fundraiser more visible to the public. It’s now easier than ever to raise funds to make a difference in the lives of people with cancer and their families. You will then be brought through a short sequence of pages where you can:
- Choose your event type, date and name
- Fill in some details about your fundraising page name and how much money you want to raise
That's it! Now you just e-mail the link for your page to everyone that you think might like to sponsor you.
It takes less than 5 minutes, and Hey Presto! Your fundraising page can look like the sample below.
Now you can just sit back and watch the money roll in. The monies raised will be transferred straight to the Irish Cancer Society. You can choose to be notified by e-mail every time someone sponsors you or you can just check back on the site every so often to see how quickly your sponsorship amount is growing! |
