will experience changes in how they feel about sex. Indeed some women find that their sex
lives improve because they have been in a situation which made them think about their
sexuality, and some people feel closer to their partners as a result. If there are problems,
these physical and emotional issues can arise weeks and months after treatment, if not years
later. Talking about sex and sexuality can be difficult. You may feel awkward when talking
about it with your partner, and more so with your doctor or nurse. By reading this factsheet,
it may help you discuss your worries with your partner or a close friend. It also might

What is the journey journal?
The ‘Journey Journal’ was created to give people diagnosed with breast cancer a useful tool to help them keep track of all information given to them from the start of their breast cancer journey.
It is a place to keep a record of all the important information you receive, such as appointment times , test results, breast care team contact details, treatment information, and resource information.
It allows you to to jot down questions for your medical team,record side effects you may be having, and help you make the most of your time with you breast care team.
